As powerful as those statements are, they are infinitely more profound for the sufferers and families that live with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Every day, the thousands affected slowly lose their ability to jump, to run, to walk, to hug their loved ones and eventually, to breathe.

Everyday they fight against the progression of their illness courageously.

...But they shouldn't do it alone.

Please join me, Wesley Anderson, and Morgan Eisenberg as we bring you the 2011 Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Gala. We ask that you join us in taking the first step towards finding a cure.
